Coven Girls Visited The Exhibition

On the last Friday of the Exhibition The Coven Girls visited and

then we all went to lunch. 

We had a lovely time and we all love our get togethers.

We have been meeting to chat and sew once a month

for 15 years.

Kates Striped Quilt Back

Every month a group of us known as 'The Coven Quilters' 

meet up at Kate's and share.

We share life, making, laughter, tears and cake!

Kate is making two quilts for a friend,

made out of her fathers ties and shirts.

Kate made the fronts out of the ties and 

the backs are made out of his shirts.

There is added fabric to give them a lift.

We all loved the striped effect above.
