Irene has just finished this beautiful Fairy Cot Quilt and Rabbit
for her Grand Daughter's new baby girl, Lucy.
The fairies are cut out and appliqued on.
It is such a beautiful quilt.
The rabbit was a pattern I designed last month.
It has been made in so many different fabrics.

Phoebe's Quilt

This is Phoebe's quilt finished and washed ready to deliver.
I enjoy making baby quilts .

Quilt For Phoebe

Daisy has had her little girl called Phoebe.
The baby quilt I started several weeks ago with Jenn is nearly finished.
Jenn is stitching the last of the bias binding.
So we can give it to Daisy and Phoebe as soon as possible.

Boys Play Quilt

Suze has had several quilts that she has been asked to make.
This is for a baby boy.
Made of random squares and rectangles.

Duck Cot Quilt

Janet has begun a cot quilt for a new baby due to arrive soon.
They know its a little boy.
I love the fresh colours in this.

Sew Simple

On Wednesday Irene and I went to
'Sew Simple' at Taverham so she could
spend her voucher, which was nealy at it's due date.
I needed some pink fabric and backing to
make a cot quilt for Jenn's friend whose baby
is due in March.
They grew up together so I have a soft spot and
want to make a quilt for her, Jenn's going to do the
binding and make a cushion.
As you can see it is very pink as we know the flavour of
the new arrival:)
It was lovely having a look at all the wonderful
fabrics and I keep saying,
"One day I will be able to have my own Fabric Shop",
Well, I do have a little selection of things in my
little shop area in The Old Art Room
but would love one of 'Sew Simple'.
In the afternoon when I got back to the studio I
laid out the fabrics and started cutting out.
